We demonstrated our commitment to the integrity of the AML/CFT/CPF regime in Trinidad and Tobago, not only through our intelligence, supervision, enforcement and outreach work, but also through accomplishments that have enhanced our reputation, and through which we have continued to solidify the respect of our domestic and international partners. With an ever-changing financial landscape with crimes becoming increasingly sophisticated, knowledge, adaptability, foresight and international cooperation are amongst our most powerful tools.


During this reporting period, the FIUTT’s strategic priorities were further actualised, with the approval of the Ministry of Finance. Strategic priorities included, procurement for the digitisation of the Compliance and Outreach Division business operations from registration to enforcement; the refresh of the data centre; the upgrade to the security framework; data analytics software engagement; and initial scoping of virtual asset service providers (VASPs) software and training.”
