The Customs & Excise Division (C&ED of the Ministry of Finance is pleased to announce the official launch of its Point of Sale (POS) Debit Card (Linx) payment system, which allows customers to make secure, convenient payments directly at Customs offices across Trinidad and Tobago.

The initiative represents a major step in the Division’s ongoing efforts to modernize its operations, enhance customer service, and strengthen the ease of doing business nationwide. The Linx payment option provides both commercial and non-commercial stakeholders with faster, safer and more efficient payment services.

]]> The new Customs and Excise Division Jetty is a T-shaped Jetty, with a length of 44m and a width of 32m. The jetty will accommodate vessels docking at the King’s Wharf port of entry for Trinidad and Tobago as well as safeguard the Customs and Excise’s mandate to promote security, as well as facilitate and control the movement of all goods involved in international trade. One vessel can be accommodated at a time. Currently, the Customs and Excise Division located at King’s Wharf, San Fernando receives imported items such as lumber and seafood (e.g. crab, shrimp,).
