The Ministry of Finance wishes to advise that the time period for the Board of Inland Revenue to issue a Notice of Assessment has been further extended from July 31, 2024 to August 16, 2024 vide Legal Notice No. 132 of 2024 (see the Legal Notice attached).

This has become necessary to permit the Board to dispatch all remaining Revised Notices of Assessment for Property Tax to residential land owners and occupiers not yet in receipt of same.

The SME Market Place is an online 24/7 portal connecting SMEs with business support products and services currently offered by various public and private sector entities. The Ministry of Finance along with its partners, the Central Bank of Trinidad and Tobago and the Trinidad and Tobago Stock Exchange, launched the SME Market Place in October 2022 as a facilitative environment for SME sustainable growth by aggregating relevant business information to a dedicated web portal, enabling easier access to information for SMEs.

The Market Place benefits

For SMEs:

  • Online 24/7 access to information on financial and non-financial services offered by multiple entities to support SME growth.
  • All relevant business information aggregated to a single web portal with open access.

For contributing public and private entities:

  • Possibility to engage with new SME clients.
  • Reduced costs of attracting and servicing SME clients.

Tender documents can be obtained during normal working hours at the Central Tenders Board’s Office, 116 Frederick Street, Port of Spain, Telephone No. 625-4330.
Tenderers are required to pay a tender deposit of One Thousand dollars ($1000.00) payable by cash or certified cheque to the Director of Contracts, Central Tenders Board. This deposit will be received on normal working days, Monday to Friday between the hours of 9.00 a.m. to 12.00 noon and 1.00 p.m. to 3.00 p.m.
The original receipt must be attached to the tender.
