The new Customs and Excise Division Jetty is a T-shaped Jetty, with a length of 44m and a width of 32m. The jetty will accommodate vessels docking at the King’s Wharf port of entry for Trinidad and Tobago as well as safeguard the Customs and Excise’s mandate to promote security, as well as facilitate and control the movement of all goods involved in international trade. One vessel can be accommodated at a time. Currently, the Customs and Excise Division located at King’s Wharf, San Fernando receives imported items such as lumber and seafood (e.g. crab, shrimp,).
