The Ministry would like to assure the public that the Inland Revenue Division is working closely with TTPost to ensure that cheques for VAT refunds and income tax refunds will be delivered as previously announced.
To mitigate financial challenges experienced by citizens and permanent residents who were retrenched, terminated or lost income as a result of COVID-19, the Government has put the following support measures in place.
The Minister of Finance, Hon. Colm Imbert, wishes to advise that the offices of the IRD, the Customs and Excise Division and the NIB will be open for business from March 31, 2020 to April 15, 2020 and thereafter.

The Comptroller of Accounts has advised that ALL counter services at the Treasury Division will be opened from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. only. Kindly note that this arrangement is with immediate effect until further notice.
