The Corporate Communications Unit of the Ministry of Finance develops and implements communication initiatives and plans based on an understanding of the micro and macro environments. The Unit aims to improve information flow, enhance the image and increase visibility of the Ministry of Finance among its internal and external publics.

Roles and Functions
The Corporate Communications Unit is responsible for planning, coordinating and supporting all communication activities of the Ministry of Finance. This includes the creation, implementation and management of communications programs designed to effectively describe and promote the Ministry and its various Divisions.
The Unit spearheads the development and implementation of appropriate plans and strategies designed to communicate information to relevant stakeholders and is responsible for the development and implementation of the Communication strategy for the Ministry of Finance and its divisions via:
- Strategic Communications Planning
- Stakeholders Relationship Management
- Image and Reputation Management
- Media Relations
- Marketing Initiatives
- Internal & External Communications
- Events Planning and Management
The Corporate Communications Unit develops and maintains professional contacts and affiliations with the media, and all stakeholders in order to effectively facilitate and promote the dissemination of information about the Ministry of Finance and its initiatives while strengthening relationships.
